CASALMAGGIORE – CONVENT OF ST.CLARE

The former convent of St. Clare, which houses the foundation of the same name, is located next to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. The convent is a magnificent 16th C. complex of over 10,000 square meters, which includes five courtyards, a public and a monastic church, a number of training and conference rooms and a guest house. The entire structure has been extensively renovated, as have its paintings and frescoes, providing exquisite multipurpose training and conference facilities and accommodation.

Convention center

The late renaissance convention center has three halls, with an overall seating capacity for 800 people. It is used for conferences, exhibitions and other public activities. For several years these rooms have hosted International Music Masterclasses and are equipped with facilities for the presentation of multimedia and audiovisual material. The building also hosts educational and professional training activities.

Welcome hall and service rooms

The Reception room is located in the cloister space, together with the service rooms.

Guest house

The Guest house has 39 rooms and can sleep up to 72 people; all rooms have private bathrooms and air conditioning.
