The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, develops and coordinates the policies related to agriculture, forestry, agro-food and fishery at national, European and international level. It is based in Rome.

Expo 2015 S.p.A. is the company started on December 1st, 2008 in compliance with the commitments made by the Italian Republic against the BIE (Bureau International des Expositions). This happens after the victory of Milan as a city that will host the Universal Exposition in 2015. The company has the task of creating and build Expo Milan 2015, whose theme is "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life" and will take place from May 1st to October 31st, 2015.
