This course aims to provide the participants with basic knowledge to get the sustainability certification of the Ministerial program VIVA - Sustainable Wine. The course is organized by didactic modules, including lessons and working sessions on how to apply practically the procedural guidelines for the indexes that preside over the sustainability certification. Costs and opportunities stemming from adhering to this certification scheme will be analyzed too. Thanks to this course, the participants will acquire specific management competencies about the VIVA program.

Participation Fee

Participation to this course is free, after succeeding in the selection procedure. Selection will be carried out by OPERA – Research centre of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and by Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare.

Preference will be given to candidates working for a winery that has already signed a VIVA agreement with Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare and/or who have successfully completed the on line course on sustainable viticulture OpenTEA (OpenTEA - La Sostenibilità Nella Viticoltura Italiana).

To access the selection procedure, the candidate must send an e-mail to  and to , clearly stating his/her interest in CEEP course SUS02. A recent CV and a cover letter, illustrating why he/she wants to join the course, should also be attached.

Candidatures must be complete for them to be taken into account. By July 31st 2015, CEEP organization will reply the candidate.

The application deadline for the course SUS02 is July 24th, 2015.

After succeeding in the selection procedure, the candidate can access for free to:

training materials and use of the location’s training facilities and related services, guided fieldtrips, transfer to and from EXPO Milano 2015 + entrance ticket and the lunches of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
