Associate Professor in Plant Pathology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Her research group focuses on the ecology and plant-pathogen interactions of mycotoxin producing fungi. Knowledge acquired is used to predict and prevent fungal growth and mycotoxin contamination in sustainable agriculture. Her most relevant collaborations follow: Cranfield University (UK), Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research of Nigeria, Federal Research Centre for Nutrition and Food (Germany), Institute of Food Science – ISPA CNR (Italy).
