Paola Giorni is full-time researcher in Plant Pathology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She obtained her Ph.D. title at the Faculty of Medicine and BioSciences of Cranfield University (UK). Her main research theme is the study of mycotoxins and the development of mycotoxin producing fungi. She deepened her studies on Aspergillus fungi linked to grapes and to maize and she defined their interactions with the environment, the plant and the other microorganisms. She published 20 papers in international peer reviewed journals.
