Nicolò Macciotta is Associate Professor of Animal breeding at the Università degli Studi of Sassari, where he gives courses on Animal Breeding and Statistics. He is chair of the Ph.D. program in Animal Science. His main research topics deal with the application of quantitative methods in animal breeding. Specific interests are lactation curve modeling, genomic selection, genetic diversity between populations, genetic associations.
