Michela Nardo is a researcher at the European Commission-Joint Research Centre. Her research interests span from statistical methodology to computational economics. She co-authored the OECD-JRC handbook for constructing composite indicators and publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals. Mrs. Nardo developed or assessed several international composite indices like the WEF–Global Competitiveness Index, the EC-Consumer empowerment Index, the OECD- Product Market Regulation Index, the www Foundation-Web Index, and the Harvard Kennedy School-African Governance Index.
