Prof. Francesco Timpano is Full professor of Economic policy at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Piacenza – Department of Economic and Social Sciences, that he directed from 2008 to 2012. His main focus of research is regional development economics and he has recently involved in a FAO project on territorial approach to food security policies.
